I worked on this little shirt for a bit.. Kind of wish I had more time.. It's definitely not perfect.. But I did learn how to work with stretchy fabrics a bit more. I had a few issues initially, but I think I worked them out, and am happy with the outcome.

P.S. - I did not tell her to wear gray cheetah leggings with it! HA! Work.
This was a good little shirt to work on, and it had to be pretty precise to match up all of the seems and create a good looking final product. I achieved that.. So I'm happy!
Nice job. Forgive me if I'm saying stuff you already know:: I don't know what kind of machine you are using but optimally knits are sewn with a coverstitch machine (on the pricey side but worth it if knits are your thing, you can find serger/coverstitch duo machines, again worth the investment depending on what you're sewing). Most home sewing machines do have some stitch options that are preferable to knits, but they don't give you as much freedom. You'll also find patterning and cutting of knits to be a little different as well however as I recall you're in design school so you'll learn all of that if you already haven't. Anyway you seem to be doing quite well so goodluck =)
